Outlook Espress will allow you to insert both Static Email Signature Cards and Animated Email Signature Cards and has no problems in terms of .HTML formatting.

With Outlook Express the file path is very important and therefore you need to SAVE your files in the correct folder on your C-drive, otherwise you will end up with a blank signature and a little red square displayed in the top right corner.

The file name must be exactly the same as the file in which the .HTML file and .GIF file of your signature was saved during the design and programming process.

Step 1: Open > My Computer
Step 2: Open > C drive (Local Disk C)

Step 3: Click > File > New > Folder
Step 4: Name this folder "signaturecard"



Step 5: Close all open windows on your screen. (In other words - go back to your Desktop display)

Step 6: Open Outlook Express

Step 7: Locate the email with the attached files I have sent you.

Step 8: Save these attachments in the folder that you have created in step 3 and 4.

Now for the fun part: Inserting your email signature card into Outlook Express and having it displayed in every email that you send out!

Step 1:  Ensure you are in Outlook Express's main window the one that says: Inbox, Draft, Outbox.

Step 2:  Click on: Tools > Options.

Step 3: Click the "Send" tab at the top
Step 4: Under "Mail Sending Format" select the bullet that says: HTML

Step 5: Click the "Signatures" tab at the top.
Step 6: Click the "New" button".

Step 7: Under "Edit Signature" select the "File" bullet.

Step 8: Click the "Browse" button.
Step 9: Change "File of type:" to "HTML Files(*.htm; *.html)"
Step 10: Browse to the htm file that you have saved in C:/signaturecard
Step 11:  Click the "Open" button.
Step 12:  Now click the "Apply" button at the bottom.
